According to GIPHY, an upgraded user is someone who has been vetted for authenticity by the platform’s team. This means that Artists, Brands, and Creators who are interested in upgrading their channels must apply and undergo a review process. Once approved, upgraded users are expected to produce high-quality, original content that aligns with GIPHY’s standards.

Brand Channel
